Measurement Of The Economic Growth Effect Of The Evolution Of Industrial Structure In Yunnan Province

On the basis of the yearbook for Yunnan Province statics over the years,this paper takes Yunnan Province as an example and deeply analyses the evolution process and characteristic of industrial structure in Yunnan Province since 1978.Taking the related data of input-output table in 2002—2012 as a basis and industrial structure and sector development as the starting point,we follow the key department analysis method and SDA structure decomposition method to measure the economic growth effect on the industrial structure evolution of Yunnan Province and find the leading industry,basic industry,bottleneck industry and so on.From the perspective of the quantity to study the proportional relationship between input and output and get the correlation feature and corresponding structural effect on various industrial sectors.The conclusion can provide quantitative reference to adjustment of industrial structure and formulation of economic policy in Yunnan Province.First of all,the paper makes an analysis on the three industries in Yunnan Province from economic contribution and employment intensity,and concludes that the industrial structure of Yunnan province has formed a basic pattern about "secondary,tertiary,primary" co-development,and then gradually move to the mode of "tertiary,secondary,primary".The development of the primary industrial is very slow,but the basic status is still unshakable.The secondary industry stands in a dominant position in national economic development,also the impact on economic development has gradually stabilized,while the development of light and heavy industry is basically out of state.The overall layout and investment shift to the tertiary industry,but the potential has not been fully tapped.In the term of absorbing employment in Yunnan as a major agricultural province,the primary industry still occupies the main position,and it has become a limiting factor in the economic development to some extent.The number of employed workers in the secondaryindustry is rising steadily.While a growing number of employments fling themselves into the tertiary industry,which is increasing rapidly.These show that the tertiary industry has a great potential for development and will gradually become the principal channel of absorbing the labor force.Secondly,regarding the correlation degree and structure effect during various industry departments in Yunnan Province as an entry point,the paper draws some significant conclusions as following.It is the pillar industry of economic development for metal mining,metal smelting,machinery and equipment manufacturing and chemical industry.Meanwhile,animal husbandry and fishery play an irreplaceable basic role,but in the period of rapid economic development,these department may become the bottleneck of economic development.The tertiary industry including scientific research,technical services,education has become potential industry that can stimulate economic growth,but its radiation driving effect has not been effectively exploit and utilize.The industrial structure of Yunnan is still quite traditional and the innovation ability ought to be improved.According to the factor decomposition for the total output of the various industries in Yunnan Province,we have discovered hat there are some varying degrees of influence on national economy in various sectors for household consumption,government consumption,capital formation and net outflow.
