Competitive globalization and customer changing demand bring more and more competitive business pressures, information society and knowledge economy businesses not only bring local challenge,such as quality, cost, technology, services, but business idea, business model, business processes and other system changes. Survival and development of enterprise business increasingly rely on efficient, flexible and agile response capabilities of process. Business process design is reasonable or not determines the efficiency of business operation, and directly affect the overall operating performance, is the lifeblood.Professor Michael Hammer put forward"for the 21st century enterprise, the process will be very critical. Outstanding success of the process will allow companies to distinguish from other competitors." In the late 90's, Michael Hammer Professor put forward process reengineering, stressed that "a fundamental rethinking and radical redesign ", which set off a wave of process management, but under authority of the statistical data,70% of companies failed to implement process reengineering,20%—25% After the implementation of effective corporate average, only 5% of the enterprises to implement successfully. Based on this, on the basis of the process reengineering, some scholars put forward the theory of process improvement, once again set off a wave of process management.This paper firstly introduces the concept of business process improvement, characteristics and improvement theory, put forward the idea of business process improvement,pattern and methods, and on this basis, creatively put forward the process model of business process improvement. Then, the processes of S business procurement center as the research object, analyze internal and external environment and describe the status of process management and propose the need for business process optimization improvement. Because S business procurement center have many business processes, taking into account the time for all business process improvement may exceed thecapacity of enterprises, we construct the index system, use AHP and use AHP software to determine the index weight, combine with process priority matrix identify the key business processes, diagnose the key business processes,identify problems and improve, business processes play a lower cost, reduce business process cycle, improve efficiency and ultimately improve customer satisfaction, enhance core competitive ability. Finally, evaluate the effect of the implementation effect of improved business processes and get satisfactory results.
