Performance Evaluation is the important content of modern human resource management. Almost every enterprise has its own Performance Evaluation, but in the process of its implementation, not all the enterprises can be successful, what is worse, some of them have terrible results. Therefore, Performance Evaluation is considered as the hardest task of Human Resource Management. It is hard to excite the work enthusiasms of staff without evaluation. Suitable Performance Evaluation System can make the enterprise get twice the result with half the effort.This paper firstly introduces the background and significance of this thesis, the research contents and general methods, analyzing the concept, the significance of Performance Evaluation and its relationship with modern performance management. This thesis, which is based on Chinese secondary automotive- Zhengzhou YT Company, analyses the present situation of the company's performance evaluation system and the problems that exists in it and proposes methods to rebuild the company's performance evaluation system and corresponding measures. This thesis mainly describes KPI (key performance indicators). In this paper, company KPI, department KPI, individual KPI is gotten step by step. The paper also lays out employee performance appraisal indicators by referencing job description manual, formulates performance appraisal standards, makes clear performance appraisal principles, and determine weight for performance indicator, assessment cycle, assessment methods, and design for assessment procedures. All these establish a basis for the development of enterprises and employees to improve performance.
