With the rapid development and increasingly fierce competition in Chinese human resource industry,performance management has become the key factor for the development of human resource enterprises.Moreover,the selection and application of performance indicators has become the key to the success of performance management.This thesis chose S Human Resources Inc as the research object,which is a professional human resource company whose business scope includes labor dispatching,hr outsourcing,hr recruitment,employment,skills training,management consulting,etc.Due to the changes of internal and external environment,the expansion of the company,internal management system and the implementation of the project scheme,the present performance evaluation index system of S company which has not adapt to the needs of the development of the company can't meet the requirement of its development strategy.What's more,this performance evaluation index system which cannot guide the project managers efficiently led to their resignations.Therefore,to find out how to effectively design the performance indicators of project managers as well as how to retain and attract excellent project managers is of great significance to S Human Resources Inc., which can help maintain the continuous and rapid development and win the competitive advantage.The thesis first sorts and summarizes the relevant theories of performance appraisal and elaborates the relevant content of the performance indicator system.Questionnaire and interview based on the theories are carried out,through which the project managers' low level satisfaction towards the current performance can be found,followed by a special analysis on the problem about the performance indicators content,extraction methods,weight setting assessment standard and other aspects in the performance indicators system of company project manager.In view of the actual situation of S company and based on the theories and research methods,the optimization idea and design model of performance evaluation indicators are put forward which can optimize the performance index system.As it adopts analysis tools as balanced scorecard,target management,KPI,and is under the guidance of the company strategic objectives and enterprise culture,the new performance index system which is base on the combination of internal and external factors such as environment,the project manager job characteristics and follows the scientific and effective extraction method can be comprehensive,effective,critical and feasible.After the design of the new index system,we take the comparison of the old and new index test,the historical data comparison and the performance index satisfaction survey results,to make a comprehensive evaluation of the main characteristics and functions of the new performance index system.This study aims to improve the S company's performance appraisal system,give play to the role of the incentive and enhance employee satisfaction and work enthusiasm by optimize its performance index optimization design,thus to improve the corporate performance via personal performance improvement,to promote the company's strategy via personal goal realization.Innovation of this study lies in the analysis and discussion about how to design the project manager performance evaluation indicators under the human resources industry management mode.Through the operation and application of new indicators to assess,the study has enhanced the practical significance of theories,enriched the performance index system of human resource company,and has provided new perspective and methods for the application of performance index system theory.It is hoped that the study of this paper will provide a reference for other similar enterprises in the design optimization of performance indicators.
