Sinochem Ningbo (group) Company Organizational Structure To Optimize The Design Study

Organizational structure is the carrier and support of its operation, which in enterprise is developing, and its changes and reforms are oriented in expanding of the enterprise business. Sinochem Ningbo is one of the most famous large-scale enterprises in foreign trade field. In recent years, it has transit to be a plural enterprise group which assembles research, industry, and trade and has its own industrial position. The relevant adjusting and reforms in its organizational structure are necessary, in order to promote its strategy transition.Firstly, this paper is based on the relevant researches literature about enterprise organization management, organizational structure, and the factors which affect the Design of enterprise organizational structure. Secondly, Through the survey methodology and data analysis and based on the actual situation of Sinochem Ningbo, this paper investigates and analyze the adaption and limitation of its existing organizational structure; and find the key problems existing in the enterprise as the following: Effective management and control mode which are aligned with the enterprise integration strategy of research, industry and trade have not formed yet in the management and control of each business units; Functional location between headquarters and its subordinate enterprises is not clear; management process is defective; and its organizational compatibility is not good. This paper has done optimizing design for the group main subordinate unit and its functional departments, justify the company's organizational structure, clarify the key function and power of each department and office, clean up and design management-control system and key management processes---the optimized organizational structure is matrix organizational structure which is also a effective compounding between group centralization management and independent operation of main business units. Finally, the researcher has implemented the optimizing and improving scheme in HVAC business units, and evaluated the effectiveness and employee satisfaction during the process.
