The operating of through trains for mass goods is important to meet social transportation demand, to ensure transportation of national key material, and to promote steady and rapid development of national economy. The reliability of operating of through trains for mass goods has close relationship with the fact that whether railway freight volume can be accomplished fully, or freight service quality can be improved rapidly. But nowadays, the reliability of operating of trough trains for mass goods is generally low, because varieties of factors influence it a lot, which lower transportation capacity, and hider the development of through trains of mass goods. This thesis does beneficial study on the operating of through trains for mass goods, and has certain theoretical value and realistic meaning.The thesis introduces the background and sense of reliability study on operating of through trains of mass goods, puts forward the study content and thinking, analyzes basic qualifications of operating of through trains of mass goods, generalizes the condition and exciting problems of operating of through trains in our country and abroad, and proposes the method of using reliability theory to research reliability of operating of through trains of mass trains. On summing up main theories of system reliability analysis as well as common methods and their suitable scopes, the method of dynamic fault tree is especially explained. According to all these theoretical methods and their used scopes, the effectiveness of using dynamic fault tree to analyze reliability of operating of through trains for mass goods is approved.Based on current situation of operating of through trains of mass goods, and analyzing the factors of operating of through trains and their logical relationship, the fault tree model is established, and then modulated. After using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to add up some events'probability, analysis methods for static sub-trees, dynamic sub-trees, and top event are raised. Lastly, leading into fuzzy clustering analysis to process data, management strength to different levels is calculated out. At last, take the reliability study on the operating of through trains in Daqing Line for example. All quantitative results to factors of operating of through trains for mass goods and management strength to every level with specific operations are putted forward.The study of this thesis has a directive function to the research of reliability of operating through trains for mass goods.
