Although corrugated case industry is a traditional industry, it is indeed an evergreen industry. At the stage of the economic recovery and its growth, all walks of life need packaging. And after a period of observation, the industry has no off-peak season or peak season. The profit is not very high but it is a long-term business.China corrugated case industry although has a long history, however, in the industrial development aspect, it is still at the primary stage of its growth. Although there is not so much barrier,there are lots of competitors. It has no high-request of price and no high-request of technology and quality. BX as an original carton enterprise serving corrugated cases only to their own group companies, now turns to open up external markets. Facing with such a competitive environment and thinking how to meet the competition,the author applying the theory of strategic research and management theory, coupling with his extensive practical experience,now has chosen the overall strategy company cost. Under macro-economic environment,this thesis analyzes how BX company analyzing the strategy formation process by effectively using company resources and the procurement scale, advanced equipment, high-quality customers, ERP systems and playing a synergistic effect of all departments to effectively implement the strategy.Finally, the thesis puts forward an overall framework on how to achieve effective risk management.This paper consists of seven parts:The first part is a brief introduction of this topics significance, the logical framework and research methods, and possible new ideas and inadequate aspects; The second part is divided into basic concepts and theoretical overview of the corrugated case industry, competitive strategy involved were introduced and an overview of research in the theory of domestic and foreign competition; The third part, using PESTEL analyzes macro environment, applying value chain analysis, industry life cycle analysis, Porter's five forces model analysis on the strategic environment, analyzes the strategic environment of BX;The fourth part is the resources and capabilities and analysis profit of BX;The fifth part, makes clear of the strategic choice of BX though the SWOT analysis, the key to success factor analysis; The sixth part, analyzes a series of innovation and reform under the process of the strategic implementation; The seventh part, proposes policy recommendations and further research directions.)The new aspects in this article contain following three parts:First, it makes clear the current domestic corrugated case industry are perfectly under competitive situation, industry life cycle is in the early growth period, and identifies the most influential factors on the corrugated case industry under such competitive environment; Secondly, it identifies its unique resources and core competencies though systematic using VRIO analytical framework; Thirdly, it supports the positioning strategy of the overall cost of BX though systematic analysis and conducts a series of recommendations on how to implement the strategy.The possible inadequate aspect is due to industry data opaque, and it can not be accurate quantitative analyzed. It has some negative impact on how to put forward a more scientific and valuable competitive strategy.In addition, this paper hopes to use more demonstration as a basis of thesis, which has more real-world experience, operability and also hopes it has certain help to other packaging companies.
