The Scenic Area of Wuhan East Lake locates in the east of Wuhan City which is called "Thoroughfare of nine provinces". The total area is 82 square kilometers, in this the water area is 33 square kilometers which is China's largest city lake.This place was classified as the first batch of national key scenic spots by The State Council in 1982,and was assessed as the first AAAA grade scenic tourist by the National Tourism Bureau in 2000,after that,it passed the ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certification in 2002.However, while in Wuhan, including the National Tourism value this Scenic Spot of the East Lake, the current East Lake does not have much attractive in tourism from the market point of view. As the foreign tourists come to the East Lake,most of them skim the surface, stay in the scenic area in a very short time, and it can not make they impress more.The only thing they remember is that they pay the ticket of The East Lake. Most citizen consider that the East Lake is a park which has larger area. The main reason is that the East Lake does not have a clear and accurate market positioning, it result's that the theme is not clear, and tit brand image is not clear. According to "Wuhan Tourism Development Master Planing" and "East Lake Scenic Area Tourism Master Planing" tothe general requirements of tourism development in East Lake,to make the strategic height of "Wuhan Tourism Development Master Planing" and the "East Lake Scenic Area Tourism Master Planing", on investigate the East Lake tourism resources and study intensively Tourism Market Characteristics and Development Trend of demand based on market-oriented today, direction of the market,deeply clear the essence of the deep tourism product development East lake value characteristics, and its comparative advantage, is the important issue of East lake tourism deeply development in the new period.This paper will analyze the current East Lake Scenic Spot Tourism Resources Development status, including the scenic area of geographical conditions, resource conditions, their socio-economic development conditions, as well as existing tourism product development status, then according to the theory of integration for East Lake tourism market analysis, tourism further development of product strategies and suggestions, and through joint analysis to quantitative research on product design tourist preference. Finally put forward the specific proposals through the East Lake scenic spot, including road transport and water pollution control measures.
