This expands the integration of the two disciplines, which broadens the space of sports industry, and provides the sustainable use of resource and developing power for tourism. We have to study how to bring inland and marine tourism resource of Shandong province into play; how to promote the joint development of sports and tourism industry, in order to spur the economic growth of Shandong province. From the perspective of sports tourism industry development in Shandong province, this thesis studies and analyzes the sports and tourism market, consumer groups, advantages, disadvantages as well as the opportunities and the competition by the ways of literature reviews, interviews, SWOT analysis and questionnaires.
