The Scope Of The Project And Time Management For Broadband Access Network Projects

In the construction process of communication projects,there are these problems:delay in progress,not smooth convergence work,lack of work and so on. By using the modern project management theory and technology,this paper try to study the problem, how to improve the timeliness of project implementation,and fast to meet market demand.First of all,this paper defines the project time and project scope management,that is needed for broadband access network projects,and analyzes the related theories and technologies.From the basic information of project,the basic work content of project,and implementation process of project,this paper introduces the broadband access network on the overall situation. And using the tools and techniques of project scope and time management as a yardstick,by comparison,analysis the existing problems and causes. Then,using the project management theory,from these respects:project scope planning,define project scope,develop work breakdown structure,verify project scope,project scope control,define work activities,sequencing activitys,estimate activity duration,develop schedules,schedule control,and so on,to explore a specific project management process and obtaining the specific work model of project management.And in accordance with the methods of project management process,using work breakdown structure as the benchmark of project scope,and using project schedule as the benchmark of project progress , to control the project scope and schedule effectively .This paper propose the ways to resolve project issues,and came to the conclusion of the study.The main conclusions of this paper is as follows:1. In order to meet market demand and business development needs,BH company must adopt scientific projects management methods to manage projects,improve enterprise management level.2. BH company has solved those problem that is existing in the project implementation process very well,through the work model designed by project management theory. In guiding the management of the specific telecommunications projects,theory of project management has gotten concrete manifestation.3. In the project scope and time management,the work model obtaining by the study has some enlightening reference value,the method can be used to guide the management of other communications projects.
