Project Management In The Province To Build Six Of The Company's Application And Practice

As an important branch in the management science, project management has already permeated in all the various trades and occupations. Project management arising from the practice and continuously improved from practice have made a successful application and further development in practice.In our country, the construction industry is taking the lead in implementing the project management. After 20 years, our country's engineering and project management is gradually converged with international practice, in the direction towards standardization. If the state-owned construction enterprise who wants to have a place in the market, standardized project management is an important means of improving the level of project management, as well as an important task that needs to be addressed urgently now.The construction enterprise which the author worked in is a large-scale state-owned enterprise, and the implementation of the project construction is an important mark for our company to move towards the market. With the implementation of the project construction in company since 1992, the author has been engaged in project management and served as project manager for many high, large, difficult project and new project. Author's understanding of project management is from superficial to profound and from partial to comprehensive. So the author has an intimate knowledge of the process and it contains rich connotation. The characteristics of domestic and international project bidding system enable the high level engineering project management with an important weapon for the enterprise to participate in market competition and continued operation. Project management has undoubtedly become an important topic that the construction company and even some other related company have to face in the long-term. Therefore, the paper take project market as the research object and hope that it will has practical significance for the enterprise.This paper utilized the knowledge that the author learned during the EMBA study to analyze and expose it in four chapters respectively. ChapterⅠProject Management Overview. From the origin of project management, makes the general exposition to it. ChapterⅡ, Construction and Project Management. This chapter mostly carries on the elaboration to the project management in the architecture industry application, and (theory and practice) and has insufficiently made the summary to the application achievement. This chapter focuses on the application of project management in the construction industry exposition. Also the application of the results (theory and practice) and made a concluding inadequate; this paper focuses on the Chapter III and IV, III, "the company's project management practice." The application process for the Project Management reviewed its position and the results are analyzed and discussed. Chapter IV "Case Analysis": implementation of the provincial tax bureau Administration Building Project." Take the specific implementation of the project that is leaded by me as a case analysis, I support the application of project management in the concept and practice, process and content to identify the gap with the international advanced management experiences, providing reference for my enterprise to further raise the level of project management.Through this article analysis and research, the author discovered that: 1,the project management is take the person, the technology and the economical ,three factors as a method, realizing three goals: the progress, the quality and the benefit. The goal management is the engineering project management guidance; 2,Therefore project management content also develops nine knowledge systems which PMBOK elaborated, including important aspects of business operations: Scope, time, quality, cost, communication, human resources, risk management, purchase etc. Project management pattern also lies in the comprehensiveness and depth of these management; 3, the project management environment involves the enterprise's organization platform and it's the correlation condition, project manager must know this thoroughly, and must unceasingly enhance the instruction, exchange, consultation and problem-solving abilities. 4, know what we are doing when we start out, this is a pragmatic approach for most managers, and project managers are no exception, the theory instruction, the experience absorption, to manages the object comprehensively, is a specific project need for the success of the work; 5, our country engineering project management starts from the model overseas advanced experience and the theory, however, a variety of specific projects, project management practice is often explored in trying to find out. This article based on the analysis of specific projects to see many of our approach coincides with the international practice. This suggests that managers continually updating the concept of constant innovation and the way of thinking in project management is essential. A successful project manager's outstanding qualities are always reflected in their concepts and thinking.I was so happy at the process of this paper's idea and writing, the case project in the forth chapter intensively underwent declaration, inspection and assessment of "Luban Award". I will carry out this work as a project. The project eventually won the 2006 China Construction Engineering Luban Award -- the highest award.
