This article did research on organizational change based on horizontal mergers and acquisitions of enterprises occurred in the actual case. After comparisons on the time dimension before and after comparisons and different enterprises through elements of the various organizations, we access to business management practices common horizontal organizational change. We got the evidence and analysis its causes, which answered what is the enterprises doing and how to do in the organizational change in horizontal M & A. Investigation and practice in the community have learned a lot of interest in M & A business, far greater than the post-merger integration. As a result, it's difficult to find when the theory of specific operation and practice of organizational change approach can be used. Therefore, this article focuses on Lenovo and Hewlett-Packard's history for several years of mergers and acquisitions case study about their on-going organizational change. This article tried hard to find the actual basis of the feasibility of concluding with an extremely complex process of M & A , from the governance structure and organizational framework to summarize comparison. Organizational change occurred in the most dominant and most fundamental part, which determines the acquisition of business-to-be acquired businesses control, as well as operations in the future course of the effectiveness of information transmission. Enterprises in the actual M & A activity has taken a number of organizational changes and effective way, and the success of M & A cases in different businesses share common characteristics of organizational change is worthy of our comparative analysis. In this paper, the comparison of two cases: Lenovo's acquisitions of IBM global PC business, Hewlett-Packard's acquisition of Compaq, show us the successful M & A experience in organizational change.Through the comparative of case studies, this article concludes: The organization change of horizontal M & A in enterprise had similar regulars. And we gives how to shorten the process of organizational change recommendations to help other businesses with flexibility in the use of mergers and acquisitions in the operation.
