The Ethical Defense Of Corporate Ecological Responsibility

Corporation why to abide by the corporate ecological responsibility has not been fully proved through the ethics. In the past,eco-ethicists prove a moral argument which is based on the intrinsic value of nature and the rights and animals have the ability to feel pain like human beings. Corporation should act on resource conservation,pollution control and environmental protection for the aim of bringing areas of moral concern extends to the natural world from human world. But as far as corporation are concerned,this moral grafted between the humanity and the natural is opposite to the traditional business ethics for majority of people to achieve the greatest benefits,it exists an insurmountable gap. This article mainly conducts the ethical illustration of corporate ecological responsibility from the five parts.The first part of the thesis is about antagonism between corporation and natural in the context of industrial civilization. It expounded on the current status of the global environmental crisis,analyzed the reasons for such a situation,and provides a background factor for corporate ecological responsibility.The second part of the thesis defines and describes the conception and characters of corporate ecological responsibility. By examining the process of ecological responsibility which the academic puts forward the concept from the ethical point,describing the ethical connotation of corporate ecological responsibility. On this basis,it demonstrates the basic characteristics of corporate ecological responsibility,providing corporation to fulfill its ecological values and levels of guidance ultimately.The third part is about the ethical foundation of corporate ecological responsibility. It illustrates ecological economic man rationality,ecological wisdom of harmony with God in China's traditional culture,the impact on the corporate ecological responsibility by the new genre of the relationship between man and nature on modern western ethics of responsibility,the unity of ecology and production of Marxism provides support for the theory in construction of corporate ecological responsibility.The fourth part of the thesis mainly concentrates on the ethical value of corporate ecological responsibility. With traditional corporate economic cogitation reflected economic man rationality,on the contrary,corporate ecological responsibility advocates respect for the intrinsic value of natural and right,stresses the moral obligation of natural,conducive to achieving reasonable material transformation between corporation and the nature,reflects the generation of justice and intergenerational justice uniform,advocates a new notion of corporate ecological ethics.The fifth part of the thesis is about establishment of ethic-moral restrictive mechanism in the practice of corporate ecological responsibility. From the perspectives of behavioral body by the government,corporation and consumer,this part mainly discussing the different behavioral body should be follow the ecological moral codes.
