| JS is a large state-owned enterprise, which have the comprehensive construction capability of various industrial and civil buildings, airports, deep foundation, municipal engineering, structural erection, steel production and processing of real estate development, mechanical and electrical installation, reinforcement, lifting heavy equipment. In recent years, China's national economy overall momentum of rapid development; the state's status raised in the international political and economic situation; in the global financial crisis, the state has imposed economic stimulus plan, which has been initially achieved a steady economic recovery. Especially in the post-disaster reconstruction of Sichuan, investment in infrastructure increased significantly. The state decided to continue to push forward the Western Development Strategy, the implementations of a number of major regional economic development plan, especially building the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone growth pole, provides a vast space for the construction and JS Company in its future development. At the same time, JS company as the old state-owned construction enterprises is gradually revealed the disadvantages, especially in recent years, the lack of scientific guidelines on strategy, in the economic restructuring and the competition situation, faced growing challenges. The face of changing market and the market environment, how to deal with, how full and efficient use of resources to enable enterprises to further develop and grow, continue to gain a competitive advantage and maintain sustainable development, all the problems are the urgent need to solve in front of JS company. Therefore, combined JS company's actual situation, given full consideration to the external environment, to develop correct and distinctive development strategy for JS company has important theoretical and urgent practical significance.Thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the research background of the company's development strategy and company profile of JS, and papers and research method are described; the second chapter, first, it analysis international and domestic construction industry's basic situation and development trend, then the analysis of the macro environment and industry environment by use of the PEST analysis tools and the Porter's five forces model show the outside opportunities and challenges, which JS company faced; Chapter III uses strategic capacity analysis, comparative superiority and competitiveness analysis, with the value chain analysis on JS company inner factor and competitiveness, these analysis show the inner advantages and disadvantages and the core competitive advantages of JS company, show JS's opportunities, threats, strengths, weaknesses by use of SWOT analysis tools; Chapter IV established the JS company's development strategy includes overall strategy, competitive strategy, business strategies and related functions strategies based on JS guiding ideology and JS company's developed vision, combined the principle of developing the strengths, exploiting opportunities, overcoming weaknesses and avoiding threats; based on Chapter IV's identified strategic concept, implementation safeguards of JS company's development strategy is proposed in Chapter V. |
