Production and supply of oilfield chemical products have penetrated into the supply chain and value chain of the oil and natural gas industry and become an important step in oil and natural gas production. With the fast development of China's economy, demands for oil and natural gas keep increasing and corresponding drilling footage increases. Increasing of drilling footage will surely increase the demands for corresponding materials, especially that consumption demands for oilfield chemical products are positively correlated with the drilling footage. As a supplier of oilfield chemical products of the oil and natural gas industry, Honghua Company is confronted with uncommon development opportunities.Honghua, as a medium and small private enterprise and an enterprise of oil-gas field scientific and technological service, also faces serious risks. Competition of the market of oil-gas field chemical products becomes more and more serious in recent years, which causes instability to the sales of oilfield chemical products and market share of Honghua Company and bring more and more pressure to development of the company. Oilfield chemical products of Honghua Company also face many problems: simple production process, low technical content, and hard to draw apart the gap with competitors, however, the key problem is lack of core competitiveness.Honghua Company is taken as the research object in this thesis and related data, information, and cases of this trade, this company, market environment, and competitors of the country are collected in order to analyze, research, and think about the macro environment, competition environment, advantages, and disadvantages of the Honghua Company according to related theoretical knowledge of enterprise strategy learned and by tools such as SWOT analysis. Based on which, the development positioning and differential development strategy of Honghua Company are further proposed in this thesis and existing internal and external conditions of Honghua Company for implementing this strategy are analyzed. Overall objective of Honghua Company, corresponding strategy for development, and corresponding measures taken to realize the development strategy are proposed. The research aiming at development strategy of Honghua Company in this thesis provides excellent references for development of oilfield chemical product industry of our country and related manufacturers.
