The Research On Determining Factors Of Automoblie Industry Cluster In China

Automobile industry is not only an important part of our national economy,but also is leading industry of country.In globalization, mergers and acquisitions is sweeping the world, China's auto industry has been the global pattern in miniature without exception. Automobile industry is a high correlation, long chain industry, it's typical scale economics and agglomeration of economic sectors. Although China's automobile output ranked first in the world, but the status quo that China's auto industry "is big but not strong" is well known. Therefore,the research of China's automobile industry cluster is helpful for the development of China's automobile industry and enhanceing the international competitiveness of the Chinese automotive industry.In this paper,we use the canonical parses and the empirical analysis together. First we investigate the development of China's automotive industry and the status of automotive industry cluster. We analyze the affecting factors on automobile industry cluster ,these factors include labor,investment,enterprises scale,transport cost,government and the base period's industry level.We take availability and authenticity of data into account,we selected relewant variables and designed the panel data model.We use the data in six areas from 1996 to 2008 as sample.Through the analysis shows that human capital has the largest impact on the formation of industry cluster. Labor increase of 1%,industry concentration has increased the level of 0.2129%.Investment increase of 1%,the level of industry concetration has increased by 0.1%.The transport cost has negative effect on antomobile industry cluster,it's different from previous analysy.The differences in these factors can explain the cureent situation of China's six major industry clusters.For the analysis of the conclusions of this paper,we suggest to increase human capital investment ,improve the ability of independent innovation.also we can develop the scale economics and enhance the cluster brand .I hope these suggestions can promote the development of China's automobile industry cluster.In this way,we can full play the combined effect of the cluster ande the economic spillover effects.
