Green Barriers On China's Research

Nowadays the issue on environmental protection has already become the great challenge that the mankind faces in the course of their survival and development. Since 1990s, international community extremely concerns sustainable development strategy that economy should be in harmony with ecological environment and a large number of international conventions on environmental protection emerge. The governments, especially developed countries pay much attention to the ecological environment and they made a lot of policies, laws, regulations and various kinds of measures to protect ecological environment in their countries. Standards about environmental protection that main developed countries makes are very extensive and strict, and only these laws, regulations and measures are applied to international trade, a kind of new barrier form —green barrier formed. This kind of new barrier will exert an influence on developing countries unavoidably. China is the biggest developing country and it is also the member states of World Trade Organization, with the arrival of the economic globalization, problems like what influence the green barriers will produce to our country and how our country replies are problems that this text should solve.At first, this text introduced some basic conceptions related with the green barrier such as concept, characteristic, content, backgrounds of producing, etc. Then the text also introduced some international rules correlated with the green barrier in the world.
