Flexible Environment. Uncertainty Of Corporate Strategy

During the age of movement the business environment have made thoroughly changed. Companies face with higher uncertainty, and the future becomes more and more forecasted. The steady market has gone for ever, and the companies can't follow the traditional institution like before, when they implemented projects gradually. The increasing speed of uncertainty makes companies facing frequently change. The changes consequentially arouse the strategic thought's changes, so the strategy should be changed gradually. How to identify, collocate and apply the new recourse quickly? How to foster companies'Strategic Flexibility? How to establish new core competition to steal with the complicated and changed competition environment? They are the key tasks the companies should face with, they also make it necessary to research the Strategic Flexibility under the uncertain environment.The main content I study in this paper is the form and construction of strategic flexibility under the uncertain environment. The Strategic Flexibility has the change of out environment as the angle of view, and has the decrease cost of inside change as content. It is the effect means for companies to increase their competition edge under the uncertain environment. The complicity of environment results in the faultage of strategy and makes companies getting sustained competition edge harder and harder. Companies can only sustain the competition edge through constructing and developing Strategic Flexibility.In this paper firstly I analyzed the uncertainty environment and appraised the theory of Flexibility, then expounded the structure of Strategic Flexibility and the relationship with environment. The important part is the structure and measure of Strategic Flexibility system and the means of consolidating sustained competition edge. At last I did research about the way how to strength sustained competition edge under the uncertain environment, and somehow it may offer some help for companies.
