Applied Research, Project Management Orders For Small Batch Production Enterprises

The short-lot manufacture of large scale equipment has its own special characteristics. The enterprises often have to face to the individual requirement of the customers. That is to say, the standardization and generalization of the product are very low. So the study of the product fabrication process is not enough.The article first introduced the short-lot production process of the mechanical manufacturing in China, Europe and America briefly. Functionalization of organization is used as the managerial mode in China, while the foreign enterprises brought in project management technique which is the base of the executive process of the contract project.The author further represented the different characteristics of the production process between the domestic and foreign enterprises by introducing and analyzing the features of Shandong Shankuang, a Chinese mechanical manufacture and FAM, a Germany mechanical manufacture.Taking the opportunity of FAM consign manufacturing in China, considering the different backgrounds of the enterprises, different modes of the project management were carried out in Shankuang and Jinan heavy machine company, which are successful.In the end, according to the result of the comparison and the case anylsis,the author analyzed the production process of the manufacturing enterprises, and then discussed not only the setting of the organization but also the plan and process,the control ,the end and the evaluation of the project management at the process of contract execution.The usage of the project management can strengthen the plan and control of the production process, improve the efficiency of it and make good use of the rare resources such as human resources, capital, equipment etc. So it means a lot to improve the general management level of the manufacturing enterprises in China.The article presents the following original ideas:1) The research object of the production process was extended to the...
