The swiftly developed economical globalization and fierce international competition urge the multinational corporations (MNCs) to carry out diverting and innovating the investment strategic, positively practicing the localization strategy. The localization strategy has become one of the MNCs'main tendencies.It has been more than 20 years since MNCs entering into China massively. As the economy keeps growing well and the investment environment becomes better in China, MNCs expand their investment and effect Chinese economy in many ways. They bring large amount of job opportunities, more foreign exchange, and force the improvement of marketing systems. They also bring high-tech and advanced management theories. At the same time, they give Chinese enterprises lots of challenges and pressures.In the recent years, MNCs regard China as an essential part of their global strategies, and launch localization strategy positively in China, including production, marketing and research. Lots of MNCs run business well in China. They not only make large profits, but also set up a creditable image of both enterprise and products. And it really enhances their international competition. However, there are some famous MNCs failed during the localization in China. The thesis will closely grasp the economical globalization as the time background, synthetically utilize the MNCs theory, the strategy management theory and business management theory, base on the facts and data, and analyze typical cases to research into the globalization in China. And try to provide some suggestions to Chinese enterprises who intend to invest overseas.
