China's Ancient Villages In Tourism Development And Tourism Planning Empirical Analysis

The ancient village is the carrier of the culture, the building technology, and the social development. It is extremely valuable in the fields of history, art, and science. As the understanding of the value of the ancient village is ceaselessly increased, the protection and the development have become one of social matters which are highly concerned about.The aim of this thesis is to explore the developmental way of ancient villages during the process of urbanization and the new rural reconstruction.Firstly,we describe the present situation of ancient villages, learn the experiences of the protection and the development of the domestic and foreign ancient villages. We propose that tourism development of ancient villages is one of the most effective ways to protect and develop ancient villages. Then we study the tendency of the development of modern planning theory, and the principle of the ancient village planning. Afterwards we take Likeng's tourism planning for example. Based on the deep research of social economy and the present situation of its tourism development, we make the SWOT analysis, and study the developmental strategy, the function district, the design of the product, the key project, the protective planning, the tourism development and the pattern of the management. The purpose is to provide some advice about the ancient village tourism development and planning .Finally, we summaries the research in this paper.
