With the developing of the economy, the government no longer controls thetelecommunication fees by policy. There is an intense price war between the threebiggest telecommunication enterprises, CHINA TELECOM, CHINA MOBILE, andCHINA UNICOM. So it becomes more and more important for the telecommunicationenterprises to establish a competitive ability of the pricing strategy in the market. Butbecause the CHINA TELECOM is on the way from the monopoly to the competitionmarket and it is not very adroitly to utilize the pricing strategy in the market, so how touse pricing strategy is important and necessarily to be researched. Based on theanalysis for the developing situations of the telecommunication operations, thestructure of the telecom, fixing price, pricing strategy and method and so on, this thesisalso uses successful cases on abroad for reference, and builds up a model of the usingpricing strategy in the market for SC TELECOM.There are four sections in this thesis. The first section describes the aims andsignificances of this research. The second part includes two chapters, one for themainly structure of the telecommunication market and the other for the mainly theoryof the telecommunication pricing strategy. The third part is finding out the project onhow to use the pricing strategy in SC TELECOM. The last part is a summary of thethesis.
