As an important part of common economic policy observed by Europe Economic Community, the Common Agricultural Policy was a remarkable asset achieved in the course of the development of EEC, and played a positive role in the betterment of EEC. In materialization of common price policy, common subsidy policy and some other relevant policy, the Common Agricultural Policy effectively coordinated the agricultural development in different countries in EEC, assured the rational growth in agriculture, and, more importantly, deepened the integration in the industry of agriculture. However, it is by no means a propitious course of making and implementing the Common Agricultural Policy, let alone a permanent solution to all the agricultural problems in EEC countries. Historical evidences have that this policy was still in need of modulation and perfection to keep up with changing situation. In Britain where there is a long history of valuating agriculture industry, many changes had happened to the position of agriculture in the landscape of her national economy in line with the Industrial Revolution, so by the end of the World War Two British agriculture policy had taken on its own characteristics, especially in market policy, price policy and structure policy.Common Agricultural Policy was an important part of cooperation between Britain and EEC. Due to the differences between agricultural policies, the negotiations around agricultural cooperation were frustrating for Britain and EEC, and also exerted profound influence on the relationship between Britain and EEC. In simple words, for the market policy the two sides took the priority of parity over disparity with differences flowing unseen, for the price policy the two sides confronted each other with unyielding bargaining, and for the structural policy Britain enjoyed the leading role.
