Since 1990s, Nanjing Zhongshan scenic spot has attained stable and healthy development. The number of tourists, especially domestic tourists, and the touristic income have come to the front rank of the national scenic spots. It has become a new economic growth point of Nanjing's GNP. In this paper, the domestic tourist market was set as the object of study, using the research method of domestic tourist market which combines quantitative and qualitative studys, the author made a special case study on Nanjing Zhongshan scenic spot. This paper is divided into four parts:Part one, Comprehension. Introduce the background of this paper and the prospect of studies which aims at the tourist market both domestic and abroad, then, discuss about the museum tourism's content and characteristics, point out the domestic touristic market research's great significance to a region's tourism development, briefly propose this paper's research purpose, research methods, research scope and research significance.Part two, Discuss about the theory of domestic tourism market and its concept and connotation, including the scale of tourism market, the structure of tourism market, the regularity of tourist's behavior, the social, economic and culthral characteristics of the main tourist sources, the features of touristic destination, the layout, traffic condition and enviromental capacity, its cooperation and competition with the adjacent scenic spots. On this basis, this paper focus on the tourist's behavior pattern and the two main concepts of tourist flow and spatial flow pattern. This is the theoretical support of this paper.Part three, Empirical study. Based on the statistical datas of questionnaires, the author analyzed the basic characteristics and touristic patterns of domestic tourists in Nanjing Zhongshan scenic spot, then conclude on factors affecting the tourist flow. The author also made a comprehensive and scientific study on the tourists's spatial flow and domestic tourist market. With the use of geographical convergence exponent tourist flow declining pattern toruism flow decay, the regularity of tourist flow declining are concluded. According to the domestic tourist's various touristic purposes, touristic manners and the features of domestic tourist structure, the domestic tourism market is divided into first rank market, second rank market and random domestic tourism market, then the current situation and problems are analyzed.Part four, Summary and Discussion. Based on the above studies, combined with the features of domestic tourist, touristic behavior mechanism and spatial flowing distribution regularity, this paper propsed suggestions and solutions on problems of Zhongshan scenic spot's touristic marketing, marketing orientation and marketing prediction. These suggestions and solutions are proposed on the respect of how to speed the development and how to achiece innovation on management.
