As the expansion of trade quantity and the enhancement of the dependence on international trade, the trend of region economic integration, which represents the international cooperation, is sweeping the world. After having established a region economic integration, member countries would consider to draw the constitution of common trade policy for their organization. With the long history, European Union is the biggest trade group in the world, and it has formed a better system than others, so it becomes the favorable study object. Since 1952, although Europe's integration suffered some frustrations, it has achieved an outstanding achievement. Among the policies established by EU, the Trade Policy is the first and most mature policy. It has distinct economic impact on EU and makes the organization a pole of the world. Accordingly, the research towards EU's Trade Policy will have great apocalypses for other economic integration organizations and deepen the understanding towards region integration theories which have relationship with trade. The economic avail makes us clear the effects of different trade policies, deepen our apprehension on trade policies, so that we can use different kinds of trade policies flexibly.The first chapter of this paper introduces the basic conception of integration, region economic integration and European Union. It also refers back the history of EU briefly, especially the history of EU's Trade Policy. The second chapter tells theories which are concerned with trade and accord with the economic situation of EU in region economic integration theories. It includes Zollverein Theory, Common Market Theory and Interdependence Theory, and then gives a simple judgment to them. The third chapter lists several important trade policies which significantly influence EU's economy, such as the Zollverein Policy, the Common Agricultural Policy, the Anti-dumping and Anti-subsiding Policy, and the policy to developing countries. The fourth chapter expounds the economic effects of the Common Trade Policy, and analyzes the reasons of the effects.
