After reforming and opening to the outside world, the incoming level of the inhabitants of city and countryside has risen by a big margin and the incoming gap between city and countryside has constantly extended with it. The Guangdong people's incoming gap had approached the international warning line. This is mostly resulted from excess increase of incoming gap between urban residents and rural residents. The incoming proportion between city and countryside of Guangdong is 3.15, which is a little less than the incoming proportion between city and countryside of the whole country, but the incoming proportion between city and countryside of Guangdong is increasing constantly while the incoming proportion between city and countryside of the whole country has a trend to shrink. Furthermore, the incoming gap between city and countryside of china is too large compared with the other countries in the world. As a result, this article concluded that the incoming gap between city and countryside of Guangdong is too large and some measurements should be used to reduce it.The improvement of the incoming gap between city and countryside results in the lower speed of the development of agriculture, makes gross demand insufficient, makes industry structure unreasonable and hampers the development of national economy.Without sufficient restriction, it will lead to the excessive expansion of the gap between the rich and the poor. The richer the rich are, the poorer the poor are. Finally, it leads to polarization. It is contrary with the goal of the social and economic development. The farmers in western countries have the ownership of a great deal of land, the scale of agricultural management is also very large, so the conception of farmers in western countries differs from that in our country for whose goal is indicating their identity. Foreign studies focus on functional incoming distribution, emphasizing the effect of the dual economic structure upon the incoming gap between city and countryside and asserting the problem can be radically solved by the migration of labour force. Scholars in our country attribute the wide gap between city and countryside to the dul economic structure. The dual economic structure is embodied by the gap in material capital or in human capital between city and countryside, the degree of urbanization, the fiscal and tax system segmenting the city and countryside, the difference of productive power between city and countryside. The article uses the data in the statistic yearbook of Guangdong and other statistic data to narrate the actuality of the incoming gap between city and countryside of Guangdong, compare the trace of change in the incoming gap between city and countryside between Guangdong and the whole country. In the core part of the thesis, by using the time series analysis methods, the article makes an empirical analysis about influencing factors of the incoming gap between city and countryside of Guangdong and then explains the empirical result simply. From the study of the thesis, both the gap in material capital between city and countryside and the difference of productive power between city and countryside have prominent positive impaction on the incoming gap between city and countryside of Guangdong, which is coherent with the anticipation concluded by us from the economic theory. Both the proportion of urban residents and the expenditure proportion supporting the agriculture in gross financial expenditure have prominent positive impaction on the incoming gap between city and countryside of Guangdong, which is inconsistent with the anticipation concluded from the economic theory. The results may be resulted from the special characters of the migration of Guangdong agricultural labour force and fiscal policy.
