| According to the economic nationalism theory, the paper analyses and explores the reasons and dilemmas of East Asian cooperation in a way of International Political Economics. Meanwhile it tries to forecast the future of East Asia's "Opening Regionism" and the regional cooperation.Economic nationalism, as an important form of Nationalism, promotes the development of Regionalism. Generally speaking, it is in the lead of economic nationalism that national states are defending their regional interests as well as enhancing the national status in a way of regional cooperation or even integration.
