The Income Gap Between China's Rural Areas Of Convergence And Difference Empirical Research

Based on economic growth and social development got the great achievement in the past more 20 years in china, Income disparity increased rapidly and has a trend of further increases in coming future, which is challenging growth sustainability ,social justness and stability. Recently, interlocal disparity of rural areas has exceeded interlocal disparity of town areas, and now is rising sharply with great speed in china, companying with the disparity between rural and town areas has less and less shares in bringing about the disparity of all the country. This paper is referred to detailed study on the problem of interlocal disparity of rural areas on the basis of analysis method of modern economics and the current economics situation of rural area, which can make references for measure the harmony of regional development and national economy. At the same time, the government can set down policies according to the contents of this paper.This paper is made of five parts as following:The first chapter nails down the practical significance of income disparity of rural areas and briefly summarizes actualities and fruits that have been studied about the regional income disparity by the scholars in island and overseas.The second chapter describes the changing trends of income variance of inter provinces, within the east, middle and west districts respectively. And explores the primary reasons of income disparity of rural inter region according to the special characteristics of reform and growth.The third chapter analyses the composing of income disparity of rural areas by some new analytical methods. In the first place, this chapter analyses the shares within three districts and within the east, middle and west districts respectively in bringing about all income disparity in rural areas. In the next place, it computes the shares that the sources of average farmer income arouses all income disparity to explore deeply the root of increased income disparity. Based on the convergence theory implicated in economic growth literatures, The forth chapter tests the problem of income convergence of inter provincial income and within east, middle and west districts respectively in rural areas.Our results show that income disparity within east, middle and west districts takes very important role, but the income disparity within three regions respectively in rural area is reducing little by little. And the main reason to work income disparity within three districts is fanner wage. We find out that the club convergence has been obviously exhibited with east and central of rural areas. At last, some advices are given for narrowing rural regional income disparity in fifth chapter.
