Tianbao Mining Group's Core Competitiveness To Build And Nurture Research

Mining industry is the basis of the heavy industry, fuel industry andmachinery manufacturing industry. With the process of increasing globalindustrialization, we not only need mineral products in more quantity, butalso in higher quality. But the mineral resource is a scarce andnon-renewable resource, and due to decades of exploitation, the miningenterprise will face many hard problems such as low-grade minerals andworse geographical environment. Therefore, if a mining enterprise want tosurvive and develop in such a harsh situation, and keep long-termcompetitive advantages, it has to establish and nurture its corecompetitiveness from the perspective of global competitiveness.This paper will firstly systematically analyses the basic theory on howto build the core competitiveness for a mining enterprise, and will introducethe contemporary representative views and ideas on core competitiveness,show the core elements and character of them. And then based on thesetheories, by analyzing the mining industry value chain and the Tianbaomining group value chain, this paper educes that if a mining enterprise wantto achieve sustainable development in mining industry, it must gain themaximize output with the minimum investment. To achieve this goal,Tianbao mining group must have the capability to gain resource, thecapability to research and develop and have the capability to manufacturedeep-processing of mineral products, these three capabilities make up of thecore competitiveness of Tianbao mining group, this paper also discuss howto gain these three capabilities. At last this paper show that by promotingcrisis management, and enhancing execution and learning capability,Tianbao mining group can form its long-term core competitiveness. Bydiscussing how to build and nurture the core competitiveness of Tianbaomining group, the writer hopes that this paper will be useful for othermining enterprises and enterprise in other industry.
