Urban Community Tourism Development

Urban tourism is a new phenomenon of tourism, which rapidly developed in the 1980s. It is a kind of tourism fashion, depending on city space, combining city advantages, attracting people to enjoy a series of activities, such as urban sightseeing, urban customs, urban life, urban shopping and entertainment. The essential is a kind of yearn and pursuance to modern city civilization. The nature and characters decided the different features with other tourism forms.Combing the construction of urban community and tourism development together is undoubtedly an important approach to promote urban tourism development, urban community construction and urban harmony. As for the urban tourism, urban community tourism can highlight the uniqueness of civil culture, lay out the good habitation, thus better enriching and satisfying travelers' need for the civil culture experiencing, enrich the type of urban tourism product, which will give a great impetus for the sustainable development of urban tourism. As for the urban community, community tourism can make the best use of community resources that will benefit the community on environment improvement, infrastructure building and landscape protection, it also improve the community economy and culture environment, thus prompting the building of a harmonious community. Therefore, urban community tourism is being and should be the key strategic way for the urban to promote tourism competitiveness.Urban community tourism indeed, as a new-style urban tourism product, still exists a lot of problems, on the basis of literature study and field investigation, this paper makes some correlative research about urban community tourism.Firstly, according to the literature review about urban tourism and community tourism, urban community tourism is defined as tourists sightseeing, visit, leisure, cultural communication and life experience in the urban community, clear the research object of this paper.Secondly, the main part of this paper makes a systematic study, from analysis of urban community tourism resource; case study and urban community tourism development suggestion. First, from ornamental value, cultural differences, the advantages of urban life analyze the attractions of urban community tourism. Demonstrate the feasibility of urban community tourism. Moreover, through interviews and information reading, propose urban community tourism resources quality evaluation system. Then, summarize the types of urban community tourism, choose two different types of urban communities take case studies, make some conclusions, analyze and summarize the main tourism resource of urban community, make a number of recommendations for urban community tourism development, such as community landscape design and the mechanism of community tourism partipation.At last, this paper reviewed the study achievements, point out this study's limitation and indicate the further research problems.In this paper, some research results can hope for provide some references for urban community tourism development in our country.
