With the development of information technology and the incoming of the age of knowledge-based economy, the competition environments of the organization is changing intensely. Knowledge is regarded as the most critical resource of firms and economies, and organizational learning is the main way to win this resource. Increasing concern has been given to knowledge management and organizational learning.This article first clears up the correlating theories and results, and introduces a new organizational learning model-a model based on knowledge map. We add the knowledge map concept into the organizational learning process, promote the learning and practicing process of the organization and contribute to the research of organizational learning and knowledge management theory. Second, we survey how different learning parameters influence the organizational learning process through simulation, such as the updating rate of knowledge, learning rate and the percentage of explicit knowledge. It gives us some advices on how to improve the effect of organizational learning process. Third, with the help of case study, we describe how the organizational learning process operates in a real firm. We investigate two different projects-Hangzhou broadcasting and television center building project and Chongqing grand theatre project, explain exploitation learning and exploration learning process clearly, and summarize how they affect organizational performance and future's development.This article makes an intensive study about organizational learning process model and its influencing factors. It is proved we can adjust different factors to improve organization's knowledge level, and maintaining an appropriate balance between exploration and exploitation is a primary factor in system survival and prosperity. The research can provide the guidance to the knowledge management and organizational learning practice.
