City Budget Hotels Spatial Distribution

As modern tourism industry are developed rapidly, the quality and quantity of tourism demand has changed a lot. High speed development of mass tourism and business tourism make hotel industry a new space expand, economy hotels take its advantages to cater this demand. Compared with high star hotels, economy hotels have some predominant traits, such as lower investment cost , more diversiform usage of property ,flexibler design of single hotel. Consequently, economy hotels have a relatively broad on choice their spartial distribution. The characteristic leads to the dimension of economy hotels expanded too much, the trend of development too hot ,investment behavior too mad, which has a bad impact on not only economy hotels'image and development, but also tourism image of the city and operational environment of hotels. Spartial distribution of city economy hotels has been investigated deeply in this article, which has a positive direction and reference on healthy development of economy hotel and rational location of tourism service establishment in the city.On the basis of a scientific definition on economy hotels, the article makes a systemic review about economy hotels research achievements. The deficiency existing in the research is also posed. The aritcle also make a specific analysis of the accomplishments on economy hotel spatial distribution. According to a series of scientific research methods and related theories, the article makes an analysis on the spatial distribution mechanism and rules. To make the analysis, one has to start with the city economy hotels capability system, function orientation on different city sections and choice of economical-type hotels locality. This article takes the city of Yangzhou as an example. It poses the possibility of the optimization of its economy hotel distribution.This article can be divided into six chapters.The first chapter give the definition and analysis on the concepts and implications of hotel, economy hotel and the spatial distribution of economy hotel. It also gives and overview of the research achievements at home and abroad. Then it gives an detailed analysis on the researches of economy hotels and its spatial distribution.The second chapter elaborates on the background, significance and the approaches of this article. And it gives a general summary of the contents and the framwork.The third chapter describes the research foundation of economy hotels spatial distribution. It discusses the industry foundation and theory foundation. The former analyses the development of the hotel intdustry in our country, the optimization and adjustment of the hotel industry, and the development of economy hotel in stages. The latter demonstrates tourism economy theory, city tourism spatial structure evolvement theory, spatial locality theory and tourism industry theory, which act as the guidance of researching on economy hotel spatial distribution. The forth chapter gives an systemic analysis of the economy hotel spartial distribution. It describes the gross amount of economy hotel spatial distribution by combining the city locality, and the brief development of tourism. It also gives a technical analysis on economy hotel spatial distribution. It discusses the requirement of its site selections. On this basis, an initial rule of economy hotel spatial distribution is drawn.The fifth chapter is a case analysis. It analyses the current situation of economy hotel spatial distribution in Yangzhou and the factors which affect the distribution.
