China's Foreign Aid Project Management Research

Aid to foreign countries, for many people, is at once a familiar and a strange field. Familiarity refers to people can view, now and then, the news from media like this: Chinese government urgently aids so and so much goods or cashes to a certain earthquake or tsunami attacked country; but seldom people are aware which department is implementing management of the assistance, and what actual work these positions are supposed to do and even who are doing these work. In view of this, this thesis take the projects of aid to foreign countries as its studying object, elaborating in detail the status quo of this field so as to enable people to have the knowledge of importance and necessity of aid to foreign countries.This thesis firstly elaborates the very concept of aid to foreign countries in a detailed way, which enable us to learn the specific content of aid to foreign countries work for perceptual understanding. Also the aid work in China and other countries is introduced for people to understand deeply what aid to foreign countries work goes like, at the same time discussions upon aid to foreign countries and modern international relationship problems will make people aware the importance of this work. Two cases, two different types of aid to foreign countries programs and operations, are employed in this thesis for overall procedure analysis, experience and feelings in the operation of these two programs are summarized in the final. In this way people will learn, beyond the theory and policy limitation, the actual operation procedure of aid to foreign countries project.This thesis, based upon the above analysis, summarizes the two characteristics of Chinese aid to foreign countries, namely the characteristics inherent in itself of the aid to foreign countries program and the one in the process of aid to foreign countries operation, and analyzing the shortages. Some suggestions are also summarized for further improvement of China's aid work to foreign countries, some are, from macroscopical angles, for system and general control and some are, from microcosmic angles, the specific execution process of aid to foreign countries as well as the consolidation of social and economic interests after the program.Considering the study of aid to foreign countries is still new in China, more and more people will step into the field as China further opens up its policy, and the study in this field will be more and more popular. This thesis wishes to deliver assistance to those who are in aid to foreign countries sector while furthering study the field.
