Spring And Autumn And The Ancient Greek Scientific Thought During The Study

The Spring and Autumn Dynasties and the Warring Periods in Chinese history, together with the Ancient Greece Times,was so-called the Epoch of Axis in the world history, during which the roots of human intelligence and knowledge had been springing up separately in China ,Hellene and some other areas in the world.In these initiative and original thoughts were included not only a great deal of philosophical thoughts but a variety of scientific thoughts as well,and such thoughts as mentioned above decided the ways that we humankind would follow in the later two thousand years..As has been said,nowadays, these roots can still find their ways in different traditions and cultural deposits in different nations.That is the case with China and Greece themselves,too.Classical cultures and thoughts in these two great civilizations had ever enjoyed their deserved nobleness and decence,their colourfulness and diversity, and their best flourishments.Based on the above factors and in the light of the close relationship between science and culture and philosophical thoughts and scientific thoughts, the author himself believes that it is of great value to choose such a subject as his research object,and that,as a paper result of the research, the dissertation is reasonally divided into five chapters—Introduction,Historically thinking of and counter thinking over the Scientific Thoughts in the Spring and Autumn Dynasties and the Warring Periods as well as the Ancient Greece Times(SADWPAGT),Discussion on Causes and Effects of the Scientific Thoughts of the SADWPAGT, Discussion on Influences of the Scientific Thoughts of the SADWPAGT, Discussion on Evolution and paradigms of the Scientific Thoughts of the SADWPAGT,etc.Within the horizontal angles of history of science and technology,cultural anthropology and the relationship between science and culture,and after a scientific analysis of and a comparative studies in the substantic historic materials related to the subject,the author has summarized the characteristics for the scientific thoughts in the Spring and Autumn Dynasties and the Warring Periods as well as the Ancient Greece Times.And then,the author has made a further analysis of them,and on trial bases,he has also proposed that the scientific thoughts in the Spring and Autumn Dynasties and the Warring Periods as well as the Ancient Greece Times follow a certain series of evolving laws or paradigms,here is the so-called the "comprehensive paradigms",i.e., the scientific thoughts in the Spring and Autumn Dynasties and the Warring Periods as well as the Ancient Greece Times evolved from the comprehensive forcing roles—natural and geographic environments,social and economic conditions,political traditions,social psychologic fashion,traditions of culture,ways of recognition,thinking structure and the cooperation of science communities.,etc.In the meanwhile,the author believes that the scientific thoughts' evolution had changeable,moveable,jumping,progressive domains in history,events,time and space,not just following a lineal or static evolving route.While writing this dissertation,the author did a lot with the past and the future and also learned a great deal from others,among whom are either forefathers or foreigners,or both,and some other nowaday domestic scholars or colleagues. From the author's point of view, this dissertation has two innovations,one of which is that the author, in the eyesight of post-modernization, has put forward his four pieces of advice for China's scientific and technologic creative and innovative systems in the four dimensions drawn from his analysis of the cultural elements and "seeds" in the scientific thoughts in the Spring and Autumn Dynasties and the Warring Periods as well as the Ancient Greece Times,the other of which is that the author has come to a new conclusion—a statement named the"Comprehensive paradigms",a very important viewpoint set up by the author and for his future followers.
