Study On Asset Utilization Efficiency Of Spring Airlines

The civil aviation industry is an important strategic industry for China’s economic and social development,and it is also an important part of building a modern comprehensive transportation system.China’s "14th Five-Year Plan" puts forward the goal of improving the operational efficiency of the civil aviation industry.However,China’s civil aviation industry is huge and developing rapidly,and at the same time,affected by the epidemic,the problem of mismatch between its asset management capabilities and the needs of enterprise development has become increasingly prominent.Taking Spring Airlines as the research object,this thesis chooses to measure and analyze the efficiency of its asset use,finds the problems in the process of asset use and finds ways to improve the efficiency of asset use,which has strong practical significance for promoting the healthy development of Spring Airlines and civil aviation industry.In this thesis,the DEA model is used to study the asset utilization efficiency of Spring Airlines from 2016 to 2020,and on the basis of sorting out and summarizing the relevant literature,9 airlines,including Spring Airlines,are selected as sample enterprises and an indicator system is constructed.First of all,the article analyzes the operation status and asset use of Spring Airlines,and roughly understands the asset management and investment status of Spring Airlines.Secondly,the basic model of DEA,BCC model,was used to analyze the static measurement of the sample enterprises,and the technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency were obtained.Then,the improved DEA model Malmquist model was used to analyze the dynamic asset use efficiency of the sample enterprises in the five years from 2016 to 2020,and the total factor productivity index and its decomposition index were obtained.Through the analysis of the measurement results and the actual operating conditions of the company,the problems existing in the use of Spring Airlines assets were obtained.Finally,based on the analysis conclusions,specific suggestions are put forward for improving the efficiency of spring airlines’ asset use.The results show that:(1)From the static efficiency measurement results,the technical efficiency and pure technical efficiency of Spring Airlines are at the middle and lower levels among the nine sample companies selected,and the scale remuneration is at the bottom.From the results,it can be concluded that the reason for the inefficiency of Spring Airlines technology is mainly due to the low scale efficiency,indicating that Spring Airlines needs to optimize in terms of enterprise scale.(2)Judging from the dynamic efficiency measurement results,Spring Airlines’ total factor productivity index showed a state of decline in other years except for 2017,especially in 2020.Through the decomposition of indicators,it is found that the change in the total factor productivity index is mainly caused by a sharp decline in the index of technological progress change.(3)From the comprehensive analysis results,it is found that the main reasons for the poor use efficiency of Spring Airlines’ assets are insufficient asset management capabilities,lack of scale effects,single revenue structure,and gradual retreat of cost advantages.In view of the above problems,specific strategies to improve the efficiency of asset use,such as improving the level of enterprise asset management,optimizing resource allocation,expanding the scale of enterprises,optimizing revenue structure,and maintaining cost advantages,are proposed.
