As the development of the mobile communication, the mobile phone has become an important handset for the daily life. The fast development of telecommunication also makes the users' demand for the service diversified; it also requires higher for the transmission of the communication, thus various value-added services begin to emerge and prosper. The colorful value-added services and the demand of the user develop the mutual promotion and support; they together promote the development of the society and the value-added services themselves.Though the value-added services develop very fast and the prospect has gained positive outlook from the public, the future development of the mobile value-added services should not be over optimistic. As the competition becoming more and more fierce, all the corporations should know about the characteristics of the market surroundings and development, set the reasonable orientation for the value-added services, and cope with the relationship with the partners, then how to integrate the resources, do the value-added services marking efficiently, evaluate the image of the services, and develop the value-added services efficiently becomes the most concerned problem for the China Unicom.This essay analyzes the current situation of the development for the value-added services of China Unicom. Through the SWOT analysis, this essay studies the problems that exist in the development of the value-added services. Based on these problems, this essay gives advice on how to develop the value-added services through the product, pricing, promotion and distribution policies.
