| Performance Appraisal (PA) is the focus of Human Resource(HR) management in enterprise. PA result affects an enterprise's decisions on staff transfer, salary adjustment, training and development directly. To built an explicit and feasible individual PA model in enterprises is the key of performance management. At present, there is no authoritative conclusion about how to perfect PA. So,the research on PA model will drive the complete development of the theory of the development and management of human resource, and it will improve the operation and management of the enterprise.Based on the theory and methods of the Performance Appraisal, a Kernel Principal Components Analysis(KPCA)-Support Vector Machine(SVM) model is built to appraise the individual performance using of an department in M.D. company by applying the theory of artificial intelligence. The main content of this article is as follow:1. Summarizing the process of the theory of Performance Appraisal, pointing out the significance of individual Performance Appraisal, and pointing up there is few rational research and mathematical model in terms of the development of Performance Appraisal theory.2. The process of optimization by introducing KPCA to the index systems of Performance Appraisal can overcome the shortcoming of traditional dimension reduction methods.3. Considering the structural risk and empirical risk,we try to design an machine learning which enhances the forecast precision of the model in condiction of limited samples. According to artificial intelligence theories ,the model based on SVM is applied to appraise individual performance. the outcome shows that this new methods performs well. |
