Midwest Airport Business Model Research

By research on the background and status of china's central-western airports, and the development strategy during the 11th Five-Year, we proposed demands on central-western airports. There are many advantages on the development of central-western airports. Of course there are also many challenges on the way of it. There are many problems in central-western airports, include Production operations, financial management and so on. Depth study on the Management Model of central-western airports is needed in order to keep up with the new development of airports.By Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and financial Analysis methods, we evaluated the effectiveness of central-western airport operations. Cluster Analysis method is used to classify the airports to find different problems in different airports. By research on management models of domestic and foreign airports, we find the management model difference in different airports. The airports can learn each other. We also make the strategy for central-western airports' management model. From the operation evaluation results of these airports, we choose the suitable one.Lastly, according to the fact of hohhot airports, we choose the most suitable management model to improve the business results of it.
