At present, China is pursuing power restructuring, The electricity market is running "separate generation and sale of electricity, the sale of electricity through competition." In order to survive in the competition, power companies must do everything possible to reduce the power generation cost.In burning coal power station, fuel cost is the most important production costs. Strengthening fuel cost control, will directly affect the economic efficiency of enterprises. Therefore, in this paper , as an example, analysis fuel management system of Xin Hai Power Company, combining theory and practice, analysis of main factors of fuel cost control—a reasonable inventory of coal, Coal Consumption of Power Supply ,the unit price of standard coal, coal blended, etc. Study how to control these factors to reduce fuel costs. As an example, analysis Xin Hai Power Company's coal inventory management, research reasonable coal inventory, not only to guarantee the safety generation, but also to reduce liquidity occupancy rate and fuel reserve depletion; Established coal inventory model under the conditions of the railway arrived in the direct; Analyze the various indicators of production to Coal Consumption of Power Supply , come up with effective control measures; The unit price of standard coal great impact on fuel costs, in this paper, analyze the influencing factors of unit price of standard coal, made several strategies to reduce the price of standard coal; The effectiveness of blended coal to reducing fuel costs is often been neglected, this paper describes the process of how coal-doped in detail. At the end of this paper, A number of recommendations were provided, including effective control of all aspects of fuel management, lower fuel costs, thus lowering the electricity costs, improve the competitiveness of burning coal power station.
