The western management theory was come into being in American in late 19th.Approximately It went through four period: scientific management theory, managerial scientific theory, theory of relationship and theory of system and the adaptability in tactics. The characteristic of western management is emphasizing knowledge and rationality. The key point is to stand out management system and organizational controlling. However, It is short of the aspect of humanity and the influence of the social culture and psychology which towards to management.The study of the organization management theory in China is far later than the westerns. Roughly It underwent three periods: the management mode of the red socialist area, the Soviet management mode and the modern management mode , which is affected by the western management philosophy. Mostly the study in China adopted the stance, viewpoint and method of Maxism. It stresses taking collective as foremost, and stand out the development of the society. The characteristic of eastern management is to highlight wisdom and humanity. The study of the eastern management philosophy pays much attention to the management principles and ethic aspect, and It is short of the study in management category and the relationship of intersubjectivity. It also lacks the study in the western management philosophy and the Chinese ancient management philosophy. Furthermore, It seldom establish contact with the present management reality in China.
