Chongqing City, Circulation Modernization Study

Under the background of the ascending status of circulation industry, the integration of regional economy, the experimental area of urban-rural comprehensive reform, and the goal of Chongqing to be the business center of Upper-Yangzi River, based on the theoretical analysis and research on circulation modernization and its role to the development of regional economy, this dissertation makes an economic analysis on Chongqing's circulation modernization, including the status quo and the S-C-P frame analysis of circulation industry, the status quo of modern circulation way, and the SWOT analysis to develop circulation modernization in Chongqing. Then, it establishes an appraisal index system of circulation modernization suitable for Chongqing, with which a comprehensive appraise of the level of circulation modernization in Chongqing is worked out. At last, it makes an analysis on the feasible suggestions and measures to promote the development of circulation modernization its developmental mode in Chongqing.Chapter One illustrates the background and significance of this study, reviews some related research in China and other countries, and also introduces the foundations, methods, viewpoints and the technique route of this research. Chapter Two study deeply on the theory of circulation modernization, including its connotation and characteristics, its particularity in China, its six logos criterions, and its role to the development of regional economy.Chapter Three makes an economic analysis on the development of circulation modernization in Chongqing. Firstly, it briefly illustrates the general developmental situation of Chongqing's circulation industry, including its status quo and the S-C-P frame analysis; second, it analyses the status quo of modern circulation way in Chongqing, including chain operation, modern logistics and e-commerce; finally, a SWOT analysis to develop circulation modernization in Chongqing is given.Chapter Four is an empirical study. Based on the establishment of appraisal index system for circulation modernization, and their reference numerical value, it makes a comprehensive appraise on the level of Chongqing's circulation modernization, mainly according to these five aspects: circulation scale, circulation contribution, circulation effectiveness, circulation system, and circulation way.Chapter Five raises some countermeasures to promote Chongqing's circulation modernization, and its developmental mode is also provided.Finally, it summarizes the main contents and innovations in this dissertation, generalizes the elicitation meaning and policy signification of the conclusion, and puts forward the problems and directions that need to be further studied in the thesis.
