Study Of Industrial Clusters In The Sichuan Agricultural Development

Industrial clusters have become a common phenomenon in the process of industrialization, which is the mainstream of regional economy. It has played an important role in the promotion of local economic development and the regional competitiveness. Scholars at home and abroad analyses the theory from different perspectives which are industrial economics, regional economics, geography, and the other subjects. Industry cluster theory applies to not only industry and the tertiary industry, but also the development of agriculture, which is a universally applicable theory.First industry is more important than before during taking a new road to industrialization, building a well-off society, and vigorously promoting the construction of modern agricultural. But China's agricultural faces some serious problems, such as, the structure is irrational, and the development is behind, it is difficult for farmers to increase their incomes. Comparing to the east, the level of agricultural development in the Sichuan Province is much more backward, which is crossing the traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. How to achieve this goal is the task we are facing, and the development of the agricultural industry cluster provides a new way for the adjustment of the agricultural structure and the building of modern agriculture.At present, industrial clusters and their embryo can be found in almost all China's economic booming regions, and the agricultural industry cluster in the eastern region has developed rapidly. The agricultural industry cluster has the embryonic form in Sichuan. The agricultural industry cluster is not the only way that can realize modern agriculture, but it is an important way for building the modern agricultural in the Sichuan Province. And how to develop the embryonic forms of the agricultural industry cluster has become an important issue in Sichuan.Therefore , firstly, this paper introduces the existing industrial cluster theory, and then turns to study the agricultural industry cluster. Basing on farmers'point of view,the author will inquire into the primary industry; Secondly, it analysis the status and relevance of the agriculture industry cluster, and then focuses on the agricultural industry cluster's role in promoting modern agriculture; Thirdly, it discusses the formation mechanism of the agricultural industry cluster,then focuses on the main factors of agricultural industry cluster formation and development; Fourthly, this paper analyses Sichuan Agricultural Industry Cluster by using the method of comparison and probes into of the formation and development of the agricultural industry cluster, so that it can provide some experience for the Western agriculture industrial clusters in the future. Finally, it gives some suggestions for developing the industrial clusters in Sichuan and achieving modern agriculture. This study which is from the microeconomic perspective - farmers, and making full use of existing industrial cluster theory, researches the western agricultural industry cluster development, so it provides an effective way for the western regions to develop modern agriculture .
