Discussion On The EU's Trade In Financial Services

Since the Lisbon Strategy sighed in 2000, the European Union adopted a series of policies to make its service sector develop more competitive. The financial service trade is one of the advantaged sectors of the external trade which contribute to the trade surplus for the European Union. This paper analyses the financial trade of the European Union financial service trade, consisting of five chapters .Chapter 1 is the introduction, making clear the background of the paper, the research configuration and the related theory. Chapter 2 named the concept of service trade and financial service trade, first, expatiates the concept of service trade, the status and the development of the world service trade,the new service mode,etc. And then the description of the financial service trade, from the concept of the financial service trade to the legal means adopted for the financial service in the developed countries. Chapter 3, that is, the development of the EU's financial service trade in the world, first, presents the development of the EU's financial service trade, then explain the reason of EU's financial trade developed rapidly, including how EU adopted three important policies to stimulates the development of the financial service, and under these policies EU is the leader in the world and comparing with the United States and Japan,EU's fiancial service trade got the largest scale.Chapter 3 which is the keystone of this paper includes four parts. The first part introduces the various policies and measures EU issued to accelerate the development of the financial services. Part two makes a particular analysis on the trade structure of the EU financial service trade,including the share and the basic status of main member states in the EU financial service trade, the relates reasons of these status. Part three analyses the export partners of EU's financial services. Part four is the structual analysis of the EU's financial service,first introduce the the banking service trade of EU and the main member states, then the causes of the status and the summary of the EU banking service trade.third,the analysis and the characteristics for the EU's insurance service trade. Chapter 5 named the devolpment of Chinese financial trade and references for China of the EU financial service development, first analyses the pattern of China's financial service,then illustrates apocalypse of EU financial service trade on the development of China's financial service trade.
