At present, the urbanization process in China has entered in to the period of accelerating development, during which there appears the specific "village in city" phenomenon. The existence and spread of this "village in city" phenomenon has, to a certain extent, set back the further development of modern cities. As the group who involve the largest interests, to know whether the landless peasants are satisfied with the residential quarters from agriculture to non-agriculture, has even more strategic significance for future.Based on reviewing of the latest living satisfactory theories' achievements, and following the actual living conditions of landless peasants, the paper studies out a set of index more comprehensive and systemic which can well evaluate the satisfaction of living quality of landless peasants. At last, the paper uses this index to make empirical research on Hangzhou in order to learn Hangzhou landless peasants' satisfaction condition of every attribute of living quality and reflect what aspects of the residential quarters from agriculture to non-agriculture of Hangzhou should be enhanced in the future.The result shows that landless peasants are basically not satisfied with the conditions of the residential quarters from agriculture to non-agriculture in Hangzhou presently. And it shows that the landless peasants are especially dissatisfied with the supporting facilities of residential quarters and traffic jam. So the paper puts forward several relative policy proposals, and this study's concludes can provide an effective information instrument for future construction and management of landless peasants' housing.
