The purpose for the project investment is for getting profits, but project investment has risk as well as. So the decision -making person must make balance between them both by feasibility analysis. This thesis is written based on the above method of analysis, related a feasibility analysis of a concrete investment project. It aims at affording usable reference for investors and decision-making persons of investment project - thermoelectricity project of A company by application to the method of feasibility analysis, meanwhile it makes an explore for the scientific theory being applied to practice.This thesis begins with the theoretical basis of the case, it takes apart the procedure of the feasibility analysis and appraise program for whole project. According to expatiate of the structure of the thesis, introduce the theory basis of the case, then combine the theory and practice, analyze and calculate the project's capital cost ,cashflow, then use three project appraisal techniques, i.e. payback period, net present value and internal rate of return and two risk analysis techniques, i.e. sensitivity analysis and breakeven analysis , finally get the conclusion: invest thermoelectricity project of A company is feasible from the prospect of financial management.From this thesis, I learned that when assessing the feasibility of one project, we should consider the time value of the money, and we should apply various appraisal techniques with IRR being the main method. And I also learned that when analyzing project risks we should find those key factors influencing the project returns, according to their sensitivity factors to IRR, and then take appropriate preventive actions in order to ensure the expected economic returns of investment project.
