Yellow Sea Regional Economic Cooperation And Yantai Economic Development

Economic globalization and regional economic grouping are the world's two major trends in economic development. Any country and region can not be obtained in a closed state of development, any country's economic activities will be transferred to other countries in some channels, one way or another, but also other countries must accept the transfer to its own; On the other hand, for their respective and common interests, a growing number of countries has been forming large and small, different economic groups, which actively promote economic and trade cooperation.Under this background, as one of the fastest-growing region playing important role in the global economy, Northeast Asia, its future is more and more concerned by the world. In Northeast Asia, China, Japan, South Korea basing on the Huanghai Sea, are establishing a space contact, and constituting a cooperation circle around the Huanghai Sea region, namely Huanghai Sea Economic Circle. In vigorous Huanghai Sea region, China, Japan and Korea are playing an important role in Asia and the world's political and economic arena.Geographical location of neighboring countries in Huanghai Sea Economic Circle, their complementary factors of production, and cultural commonality, provide the basis for international cooperation. Although the countries in the region have different economic development levels, different social and political structures, their resources vary, but their market potentials are large, they have highly complementary economies and vast-space mutual cooperation.Yantai City, located in the golden position of Huanghai Sea Economic Circle, may rely on the economic cooperation and exchanges within the region to achieve the international division of labor and mutual industrial complement, to promote economic structural adjustment and development by leaps and bounds.This article first reviews the history of the development process in Huanghai Sea Economic Circle and summarizes the status quo of current economic exchanges and cooperation, secondly, according to Yantai City's historical data of participating in Huanghai Sea Economic Circle in recent years, draw a conclusion that there will be great significance for Yantai City to participate in international division of labor, to strengthen international trade, and to introduce foreign investment and advanced foreign technology and so on. Thirdly this paper analyzes the factors impacting Huanghai Sea regional economic cooperation, and gives basic solution thought from long-term view.This paper focuses on various industrial comparative analysis and studies to Huanghai Sea Economic Circle. On the basis of a RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) as the indicator of evaluation, it calculates statistical data of 6 regions in Huanghai Sea Economic circle, such as Yantai City, Liaoning Province, and finds out the comparatively advantageous industries of 6 regions. Based on this, the last part presents specific proposals for Yantai city to push docking the Huanghai Sea economic circle industry and to improve Huanghai Sea regional economic cooperation.
