Zhejiang Jiaxing Bin Hai New Area Port Industry Development Strategy

This paper focuses on the actual situation of Zhejiang Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry,and studies its developmental strategy Firstly, This article summarizes the background and significance of this research topic ,and analyses the present situation and existent problems of Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry with industrial organization theory and strategic management theory, then this paper exposures there are many problems in this industry, such as unreasonable structure, insufficient technical innovation ability, un-fully used preponderant resources, and etc. On the strategic level, this paper also studies on the foreign and domestic macroscopic economic environment as well as the interior condition, which Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry faces to. This paper points out that Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry is in a good international and domestic economic environment, and the industrial resource and some Jiaxing Binhai New Area such as industries have certain competitive advantage, while many weaknesses still exist in Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry, that are: its industrial concentration is not high, its industrial competition is too intense, the degree of industrial cluster is low, and the international market share of high-tech application product is low. According above, this paper carries on the developmental strategy analysis of Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry. In this foundation, this paper proposes that the strategical goal of Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry is to speed up the adjustment of industrial structure and product structure by taking the market as guide, and to promote the product's added value of Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry by taking the technical innovation as power, and at last, to forman industrial cluster through better industries. The emphases of developmental strategies of Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry are as follows. First is the industrial cluster strategy: With the effect of industrial cluster, this industry can reduce its cost, then form a regional brand to enhance its competitive ability; Second is the technical innovation strategy: By developing a batch of significant projects of technical research, Jiaxing Binhai New Area industry can set up its technical research center. The third strategy is attracting business and investment, that is to introduce a batch of high-tech enterprises with strong industrial relevancy and leading ability, which can provide lots of employment opportunities.
