Green Trade Justice Issues

Problem of justice is an important ethical problem which scholars at all times and in all over the world have been discussed. At present, green trade is focused on by all persons who are at home and abroad. This thesis tries to integrate problem of justice and green trade and take Green Trade Barriers for instance to analyze the justice problem of green trade.According to the standpoints of the thesis, the justice problem of green trade is accompanied by generation of Green Trade Barriers. Green Trade Barriers are in essence the injustice in which developed counties are directed against developing countries, so the thesis calls them "the injustice of green trade". From the ethical angle, Green Trade Barriers are unreasonable and unfair in reality. Therefore, we must find out what the justice of green trade should be and what ethical principles we should conform to and how to treat and deal with the injustice of green trade, namely Green Trade Barriers, in order to ensure the realization of the justice of green trade and to change conflicts into well-cooperations among the countries to realize common interests of developed counties and developing countries and harmony of international trading system finally.The conclusions of the thesis are as follows: the justice of green trade contains reasonable and justice principles which the subjects of green trade conform to and a norm to appraise justice or injustice of green trade. It is the right way to deal with and adjust relationships of interests which the subjects of green trade have. Whatever developed counties or developing countries, they should conform to the principles of the justice of green trade containing principles at three different moral levels which are principles of harmless, opportunity equity and mutual-benefit. They should cooperate to alleviate or eliminate conflicts of green trade between them and realize justice of starting point, process and result of green trade and the international trading system in harmony finally.The main research object of the thesis is Green Trade Barriers in the field of international trade. The thesis defines developed counties as the subject of carrying out Green Trade Barriers, because it accords with current conditions in international trade and it is also a consensus of majority scholars. This means that problem of the justice of green trade is problem of justice between developed countries and developing countries. About research methods, at first, the thesis attempts to combine theory with practice, and the inductive method with the deductive method to make the ethical analysis. Secondly, the thesis analyze problem to combine trade and ethics in the specific course of research because the justice problem of green trade is not only a trade problem but also an ethical problem. Third, the thesis uses literature research methods which contain to collect and arrange a great deal of documents and materials, including to look up relative rules of international trade in order to better grasp the history and current conditions of Green Trade Barriers, and to affirm Green Trade Barriers violating the rules of international trade or not. Forth, the thesis will be followed to ask questions, analyze and solve problems of logical analysis.
