The Income Gap Between Research Methods Of The Yunnan Income Gap Between The Empirical Analysis

The economy of Yunnan province has boomed since 1980s with the reconstruction of the economy and the income distribution system. The long lasting, high-level economy growth is a result of the income distribution system which has been changed in the past 28 years and the social resources have been greatly motivated by the system. There is no doubt that the standard of living of common people have improved tremendously, but at the same time, the gap between the poor and the wealth have been widen greatly. This situation does not comply with the aim of building a harmonious and affluent society, and it have become a realistic problem which freezes the development of Yunnan province.In this article, the income gap problem of Yunnan province from 1991 to 2006 will be fully discussed with the analysis of income gap and the econometrics methods. This paper will mainly concern two aspects of the problem. (1) Different kinds of methods of income gap analysis will be evaluated and a sound summary of different methods will be given, so this will be the foundation for the next research. (2) In this chapter, the problem of income gap of Yunnan province will be researched and evaluated from different angles with methods of income gap measurement and income gap decomposition. Though these research, we can have a integral knowledge of income gap problem in Yunnan and can have some insights of the future development of income gap; then, a econometrical model will be presented and we will figure out which factors is contributed to the widen of income gap.(3) in this chapter, a bunch of policy proposals will be presented, those proposal are all based on rigorous research results.The main conclusions include two points. On the one hand, In addition to the regional income gap has narrowed the trend, the overall income gap , the industry, urban and rural residents have expanded to varying degrees. On the other hand, We can have a result that the urban unemployment rate, income rate, industry ratio, the level of urbanization and the development of financial industry have a positive impact on the problem of income gap, at the same time, GDPAL, the proportion of non-agriculture income on the annual per capita net income of rural households have effect of reducing income gap, by the regression analysis.We can have a result that the urban unemployment rate, income rate, industry ratio, the level of urbanization and the development of financial industry have a positive impact on the problem of income gap, at the same time, GDPAL, the proportion of non-agriculture income on the annual per capita net income of rural households have effect of reducing income gap, by employing the regression analysis.This dissertation mainly contributes: It is guiding role for the choice of the methodsof income inequality that we discuss and review the research methods of the income inequality, we research and discuss residential income distribution gap of Yunnan province using data ,which enriches income inequality of Yunnan province in empirical research.
