Abstract/Summary:
Along with the entrance of the 21st century, the internal and external environment of China has been under great change. Particularly, this phenomenon has been even more strengthened by the China's entering of WTO. A lot of business policies and industry policies shall be changed to adapt the requirement of WTO. Being of a Chinese pillar industry, auto industry has gained great success recently. But even so, since the auto industry was developed from a very low point, there has been still huge gap between the Chinese auto industry and Europe/American auto industry. So unavoidably, Chinese auto industry is going to be challenged severely from overseas. Due to many years of oversight and policies failure, auto part industry has become a bottleneck of auto industry development. Auto part industry will meet overwhelming competition from other countries.This article briefly introduces the development of Chinese auto part industry. Besides, this article systematically analyzes the external environment of Chinese auto industry, including: politic factor analysis, economic factor analysis, sociological factor analysis and the science and technology factor analysis. Then, selecting Lear china Co., Ltd. as a sample, this article thoroughly discusses the competitive structure of the auto seat assembly and the operational environment of the company. After that, based on the study and investigation, this article structurally analyzes the company internal strengthen and weakness. In the end, the article provides the constructive suggestions to the company strategic decision making for the future development.
